Open Office
Very good alternative for MS-Office. Many functions are of a better quality than MS-Office.
However, the spreadsheet function is a bit behind. For heavy Spreadsheet use (pivot tables etc), we would recommend Excel.
For use within testing projects, the functionality is more than adequate.
Zeer goed alternatief voor MS-Office. Veel functies werken beter. Echter de Spreadsheet functionaliteit loopt nog iets achter op Excel (alleen voor zware spreadsheet toepassingen). Voor (Test)projecten is het rekenblad echter ruim voldoende.

The database, which is the basis under many Open Source / PHP projects. Stable and with adequate Database Management Tools.

Easy to install Server set-up, for Apache, MySQL, PHP. We use this for deployment of test tools. Installs fine on Linux, Windows. MySQL.
Apache server, snel opzetten, Linux, Windows, MacOS, Solaris. Installeert alle benodigde onderdelen, ook PHP, MySQL etc.
